Speaking & Media
The insider who finally gets to say it out loud.
Vincent Catalano spent 23 years inside the employee benefits industry, at firms like Arthur J. Gallagher, watching the same rigged game play out for employers year after year. Then he went independent. No carrier relationships. No commissions. No book of business to protect. Now he speaks, advises, and hosts a podcast built to rip the band-aid off employer healthcare.
That is what makes him CLEAR. Nothing to sell from the stage, and no one to protect but the employer in the room.

Why Vincent
He didn’t study healthcare from the outside. He worked it from the inside for 23 years.
Most conference stages get consultants who advise on benefits from a safe distance. Vincent was on the inside for more than two decades. He knows how the money moves, where it disappears, and what no one in the room is allowed to say, because he used to be one of the people not saying it.
Independent by design. Independent since founding CLEAR Healthcare Solutions. No carrier relationships, no commissions, no hidden incentives. Nothing to pitch but the truth.
Practical, not theoretical. Every talk ends with what the audience can actually do on Monday. “Hope is not a strategy” isn’t just a line. It’s the standard.
30+ episodes of proof. The CLEARly Beneficial Podcast demonstrates in public that Vincent can hold a room, challenge a guest, and translate complexity for any audience.
Challenger-positioned, never mean. His edge is aimed at broken systems, not the people in the seats. Audiences leave energized, not battered.
Signature Talks
Talks built for people who are tired of being sold to.
KEYNOTE — Hope Is Not a Strategy: Treating Healthcare Like the Investment It Actually Is. Healthcare is one of the three largest expenses on most balance sheets, and most companies still manage it with a rushed annual renewal. This keynote reframes employer healthcare as a boardroom decision instead of an HR errand, and hands leaders the questions that separate real stewardship from status quo. Audience: CEOs, CFOs, HR leaders, benefits committees. 45 to 60 min.
KEYNOTE — Why Your Benefits Broker Isn’t Working for You (And What to Do About It). The conflict of interest baked into carrier-paid brokerage, how it quietly costs employers millions, and the five questions every HR and finance leader should be asking right now. Audience: HR leaders, CFOs, benefits committees. 45 to 60 min.
WORKSHOP — Ripping the Band-Aid Off: A Practical Guide to RFPs, Renewals, and Getting an Honest Answer. RFP season is often theater. This working session gives HR and finance teams the tools to run a real competitive process, and to know when they are being managed instead of advised. Audience: HR teams, finance leaders. 90 min.
GUEST LECTURE — What the System Is Designed to Do (and Who Designed It): Healthcare Benefits for Future Physicians. Built for future providers and business students. Understanding how employer-sponsored benefits work, and where they fail, makes better doctors, better administrators, and better advocates for patients. Audience: medical schools, MBA programs, universities.

“I don’t think anyone in the industry starts out saying they want to get into the insurance industry. We’re all accidents in some way. But the difference is whether you stay an accident or become intentional about change.”
